Richard Hawley: "I remember we were mid-tour and we were all nervous because we had a flight to Japan the next day. And it was like we
either do the Mercury's and have a day off in Japan to get over the jet-lag, or we do the Mercury's and then fly and do a gig
immediately after getting off the plane. And I remember we flew and did the gig straight away and we were so tired we had one of our
backline guys with a big stick with gaffer tape on it to prod us when we fell asleep!"
